  • Bootcamp for NMR Educators, May 23 & 24, 2011, Lake Superior State University, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 
      
    The focus of this conference will be on the teaching and demonstration of NMR concepts at the undergraduate and graduate level. Our two keynote speakers will be Joseph Hornak (Rochester Institute of Technology) and John Glushka (University of Georgia).  The first day of the conference will be presented by these keynote speakers and will focus on teaching techniques and new tools in NMR education, while the second day will be presentations by educators, researchers, and NMR companies/industry highlighting the latest advances in the field.
     

  • University of Minnesota Materials Research Science and Engineering Center (MRSEC)
       The University of Minnesota MRSEC, funded by the National Science Foundation, offers unique research and educational opportunities each summer to faculty and students from four-year and tribal colleges, as well as high school teachers. The programs include college faculty-student team fellowships, Native American undergraduate fellowships, Research Experiences for Undergraduates, and Research Experiences for Teachers.
