Chemistry/Organic-Augustana College invites applications for a
tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Organic Chemistry, to begin with
the 2012 – 2013 academic year. Teaching duties would include Organic Chemistry
lecture and lab. The candidate must have earned a Ph.D. (or be ABD) in Organic
Chemistry or a related field. Candidates should intend to carry out an active
research program with undergraduate students, should value Augustana College’s
commitment to the liberal arts and participate in the college’s General
Education program. A commitment to undergraduate teaching, advising, and
mentoring in a liberal arts setting is required.
